About Us

Touw Meubels is a private company that was established in 1989 by Robin and Lenn Clark. Lenn is a qualified cabinet maker and the family has been cabinet makers for 7 generations. The company purchased an existing traditional furniture factory in George. The factory is well suited to use the hard and soft woods from the forests and plantations of the George-Knysna area. The factory has been modernized and the range of products manufactured has changed. Products are manufactured to meet the demands of the market.

The range of products has changed from traditional Cape furniture to more contemporary styles. Cabinet makers and wood machinists are trained by the company and these traditional skills are used for manufacturing the wide range of products produced.
